Getting started
Your VeraGen ID
Your VeraGen ID is the one sign-in you use for every VeraGen system: the VeraGen AI Hub, VeraGen Learn (learn.veragen.ai) and VeraGen Partner (partner.veragen.ai). It is your email address, your name, your password (or Google) and two-step verification. A VeraGen ID signs you in; it does not register you with any system by itself.
One ID, registered with each system
You create your VeraGen ID once, on whichever system you start with. To use another system, you register with it using the same ID. Registering with one system never registers you with another.
| System | What registering means |
|---|---|
| VeraGen AI Hub | Choosing a plan and starting the free trial, or accepting an invitation to someone else's account. See Plans and the free trial. |
| VeraGen Learn | Registering with Learn, which is free. Then you take courses and certifications. |
| VeraGen Partner | Applying to the Partner program. Once VeraGen approves your application, or a partner organization invites you, you use the partner portal. |
When you sign in to a system you have not registered with, it shows you how to register: never an error, and never another system's pages.
Create a VeraGen ID
VeraGen Partner and VeraGen Learn both offer Create a VeraGen ID. It takes a minute and asks for no plan and no card.
- On Partner or Learn, click Create a VeraGen ID. The page Create a VeraGen ID opens, saying which system you are continuing to.
- Enter your First name, Last name, Email (already filled in if you typed it on Partner or Learn, or came from a Partner invitation; you can change it) and a Password (at least 10 characters, with a lowercase letter and a number), and tick the box to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Or click Continue with Google.
- Click Create my VeraGen ID. A six-digit code is emailed to you from noreply@veragen.ai.
- Enter the code and click Confirm and create my VeraGen ID. You are signed in.
- A page asks Continue to VeraGen Partner as your name (or Continue to VeraGen Learn). Click Continue to go back, signed in.
Two-step verification is on for a VeraGen ID made with an email and password: each later sign-in asks for a six-digit code sent to your email.
Sign in to VeraGen Partner
- On VeraGen Partner, click Sign in with your VeraGen ID. The AI Hub's sign-in page opens, headed Sign in with your VeraGen ID and saying to continue to VeraGen Partner.
- Sign in as usual: your email and password and the emailed code, or Continue with Google. If you are already signed in, this step is skipped.
- A page asks Continue to VeraGen Partner as your name. Click Continue.
VeraGen Partner receives your name, email address and time zone, and nothing else. Your AI Hub projects and data stay in the AI Hub. Signing out of VeraGen Partner signs you out of Partner only. Signing in to VeraGen Learn works the same way: see Signing in.
Using the AI Hub with a VeraGen ID made for Partner or Learn
If you made your VeraGen ID on VeraGen Partner or VeraGen Learn, opening hub.veragen.ai shows Register with the VeraGen AI Hub: choose a plan to start the free trial, and the AI Hub opens with your workspace. See Plans and the free trial. During pre-launch, registering with the AI Hub is open to people certified in AI Hub Fundamentals; creating a VeraGen ID is open to everyone.
Your profile is shared
Your name and time zone are the same everywhere you use your VeraGen ID. Change them in the AI Hub (My Profile: the display name and Timezone), on VeraGen Learn or on VeraGen Partner, and the others follow.
Learn and Partner also show a public profile of your VeraGen ID. You choose whether it is public, whether it shows your time zone and whether it lists your certifications. Its address is made from your name; you can change it:
- 3 to 40 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number.
- Site words (such as admin, help or partner), the VeraGen name and offensive words are not allowed.
- You can change it 3 times in 30 days. An address you give up forwards to your new one for 90 days and is never given to anyone else; you can take it back yourself.
