Observability

When a run fails

Observability shows that a workflow run failed; the workflow's own history shows why.

  1. In Recent runs, find the run marked Failed or Partly failed. The line under the workflow's name summarises what happened.
  2. Open that workflow in Tellagent → AI Workflows and click History.
  3. Open the run and find the first step that failed. Nothing after it ran, so that step is the real problem.

The usual causes

  • A web page would not load. The step says what happened to each address it tried. If one source keeps failing, replace it.
  • The AI was briefly busy. Run it again.
  • Nothing to work from. A step grounded on a project with no documents has nothing to summarise.
  • Out of credit. Runs stop when the balance runs out. Add credit
A run that fails at the same step every time needs a change, not another try. Open that step and fix what it points at.
