Ratings and reviews in the App Store

Every app in the VeraGen App Store shows its average rating, how many people rated it and their reviews, newest first. Only people who got the app can rate it, so every rating comes from someone who has used it. Reviews are shown without a name. Ratings and reviews open with the store, which is not open yet.

Rate an app

Sign in with your VeraGen ID, open the app's page and get the app. Under Ratings and reviews, choose from 1 to 5 stars. A title and a review are optional. Press Post rating. You rate each app once: to change your mind, press Edit, change it and press Save changes. Withdraw takes your rating off the store and out of the average; you can rate the app again later.

Checks and the rules

Reviews with words are checked by VeraGen's safety check. Most appear at once. Some wait for a check first and say Waiting for a check; their stars count once they appear. Keep your review about the app: no personal details, threats, hate or sexual content. A review that breaks the store's rules is not posted, or is taken down by VeraGen.

Replies from the creator

The app's creator can reply to a posted review. The reply appears under the review as Reply from the creator.
