App Store
Getting apps and My Apps
Signing in with a VeraGen ID
The store uses a VeraGen ID: your personal sign-in for the store and its apps. It is separate from an AI Hub account.
- Choose Sign in at the top of any store page.
- Enter your email and password. If you were invited, use the temporary password from your invitation, then choose your own password (at least 8 characters, with a lower-case letter and a number).
- The first time, tell us your age range and country. We keep the range and country, not your date of birth. The store is open to adults (18 and over) for now.
- Read and accept the VeraGen Store terms. You do this once.
You stay signed in until you close the tab or choose Sign out. If you already use the AI Hub, sign in with the same email and password: it signs you in to the store only.
Creating a VeraGen ID
When sign-up is open, the sign-in page shows Create a VeraGen ID under the form. Until then it says Sign-up opens soon, and VeraGen IDs are by invitation.
- Choose Sign in at the top of any store page, then Create a VeraGen ID.
- Enter your email and a password (at least 8 characters, with a lower-case letter and a number), then the same password again under Confirm password. Choose Create VeraGen ID.
- We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it under Confirmation code and choose Confirm. No email? Check your spam folder, then choose Send a new code.
- You are signed in. Tell us your age range and country, accept the store terms, and you go back to the page you came from.
If the page says the email already has a VeraGen ID, sign in with it instead; an AI Hub sign-in works too. If you closed the page before entering the code, sign in with your email and password: we send a new code and you finish from there.
Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password?, enter your email and choose Send reset code. Enter the 6-digit code from the email and a new password, then choose Reset password.
Getting an app
On an app's page, choose Get. The app is free and goes into your library at once. Choose Open to use it; it opens in a new tab at the app's own address.
My Apps
My apps at the top of the page lists every app you have got. Choose Open to use one.
A free app stays in your library for a year and renews by itself while the app is in the store. If an app leaves the store, it stays in your library until its year is up, and My Apps shows the date.
Removing an app
Choose Remove next to the app, then Remove again to confirm. You can get it again from the store at any time.
